Nancy Johnson built our small museum at the Irvington Mission Peak IOOF and then much larger ones for the Grand Lodge (state level of IOOF) in San Jose & San Francisco. This picture was taken the day of the Grand Museum’s opening in SJ, yr. 1981. Nancy really fashioned the character of our Lodge– a legacy that includes Irvington and the entire older Washington Township. Our history goes back to the first lodges in San Francisco and our mother lodge in the old county seat of Alvarado.
